The Stationery Store
When we stumbled upon this picture, I couldn’t help but wonder: WHERE have I seen this place before?
Could this be somewhere in New Town? Old Town? Or perhaps even Ipoh Garden?
The interior of the store (especially the display case in front) look so familiar…anyone care to make a guess?

It looks like the book store in Ipoh Garden in the 70s where KSC is now. I lived across the circle. A chicken rice shop and coffee shop was where Maybank is now located, next to this book store (KSC). I remember the TIMEX cabinet and guitars hanging. Thanks. Cheers.

if it is the shop in ipoh garden ,then i must be very forgetful cosi i used to frequent the magazines and have my haircut just a door away and to record my favourite music also a few doors away.can’t recall the name of the shops.anyone can help?
