Saving Yesterday For Tomorrow
  1. Ipoh Remembered says:

Have you heard of the Iskandar Shah School?

Heard of? Yes, in the 1950s there was a school by that name — in Parit, I believe — but I do not know how large it was, never actually saw the building, and would not recognize it.

  2. Ipoh Remembered says:

Dear sk … Thanks for the link to your old stories about your school badge. It was a pleasure to read them. At first you thought metal badges had been replaced by cloth badges; and then you remembered it went the other way around! It’s funny how memory works.

  3. sk says:

Yes, Ipoh remembered – It was Cloth badge then Metal. In another story, I also mentioned that the cloth badge was stitched with clip on buttons. Then in 70s or 80s, it was I think ironed onto the uniform. Now I dont know what badge type of badge is used.
