Anyone remember the ‘Hai Heng’ Bar? The building does look familiar, but then again most of the shop houses in Ipoh had roughly the same design 😉 Perhaps someone out there frequented this bar… This photograph is from John McAuley, a former British serviceman who served in Ipoh from about 1956-1957.
