As mentioned previously, we have a postcard with ‘Ipoh East’ stamped on the top left corner. The date is stated as 1934 – meaning the Post Office concerned has been around for some time. When did they close then?
According to Nick Band (our donor), the caption for this 1957 photograph reads as Post Office, Brewster Road, from the Eastern.
