Saving Yesterday For Tomorrow

      Dear sk

The background looked like Tasek Cement area.

Well, that might explain the relative location of the hills and the river.

As for timing: In the photograph you can see that D. R. is leaning on a cane or walking-stick. You may remember he was involved in a serious car accident in early 1965. He injured his spine and was in the hospital for more than two months. If I had to guess, I’d guess the photograph was taken in late 1965 or early 1966.

Was the Tasek Industrial Estate still a new venture at that time? Or was it already fully developed?

Hi Ipoh Remembered – I could be wrong on the Tasek Cement location. You mentioned if Tasek Cement was developed or fully developed.
    It jumped start my memory.
Well, I remember going up the Perak Tong Caves watching the Grand Prix circuit by Reknowned Racer – Hongkie Albert Poon ( Datsun SSS series ) , Local Motocyclist Bulldog Kwan & etc racing at the Tasek Cement circuit in the early 60’s. Being that the case, the background could not be Tasek Cement.
Ipohworld did mentioned about a race in Ipoh but I cant remember when.
Ipoh Remembered – You really do have a sharp eye to see D.R. Seenivasagam in a cane.
