Ar0YwOEYXH-6ye1uZ-oJV6IAJ41M1xsx2WyoYKlgBK2tIt was definitely a pleasant surprise to have the boy and gals from the Ipoh Classic Car Club in Old Town this morning. They parked their beauties at the corner of the Ho Yan Hor Herbal Tea museum which is of course right next to our very own Han Chin Pet Soo. Sometime ago, the NST featured the Taiping Central Market – which was built between 1884 & 1885. Yes, the market is 130 years old! The above picture shows the wood and cast iron latticed structure which is a prominent feature of this landmark.

Taiping folks, we want to hear YOUR stories / adventures about this market 🙂
